Nana Our beautiful Nana has gone away, free from this life, she just could not stay. It was time to go and say her goodbyes, leaving her family, tears in our eyes. But please do not cry, nana won’t want us sad, remember the good times we have all had. Remember how she would chatter and not stop for breath, how we would laugh with each other thinking “have we gone deaf”! Remember her cuppas she would make them so nice. Remember her knitted slippers, we all had them at least twice. Memories are what we cherish so dear, the way she would hug us and keep us all near. Her family was her everything, she was proud every day, she loved us all equally, in her own special way. We will miss her voice, her hugs and her smell, but we will meet again she would always tell.
